Input Sections

Context

Describe the environment, situation, or background where your story takes place. What's happening in the industry, market, or daily operations?

Example: "In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape where customer expectations are higher than ever..."

Target

Who is the main character of your story? Be specific about their role, responsibilities, and characteristics.

Example: "Product managers at mid-sized technology companies who are responsible for driving product strategy and execution..."

Empathy

What does your target see, feel, hear, and say in their daily work? Step into their shoes and describe their experience.

Example: "They feel overwhelmed by competing priorities and constant stakeholder demands. They hear conflicting feedback from customers and leadership..."

Problem

What specific challenge or pain point does your target face? What's preventing them from achieving their goals?

Example: "They struggle to clearly communicate their product vision and value proposition to stakeholders, leading to misaligned priorities and delayed decisions..."

Consequences

How does this problem impact their daily work, relationships, or results? What happens if nothing changes?

Example: "This leads to frustrated teams, missed opportunities, and products that don't meet market needs. Decisions get delayed, roadmaps lose credibility, and team morale suffers..."

Solution

What is your offering or approach that addresses this problem? Keep it concise and focused on the what.

Example: "Lean Storytelling provides a simple 3-part framework that helps product managers structure their message clearly and persuasively..."

Benefits

What tangible advantages does your solution provide? What does your target gain or achieve?
