This is the description your AI agent reads to decide when to run this skill — the better it matches your request, the more reliably it fires.
Key capabilities
- →Write or update developer guides (`dev-guide`)
- →Write or update user guides (`user-guide`)
- →Produce task-oriented documentation
- →Generate documentation in the project's `docs/` directory
- →Confirm existing documentation structure before writing
- →Collect input from design documents and existing guides
How it works
The skill follows a workflow to clarify scope, collect input from specifications and existing documents, draft guides according to specific structures, and manage user reviews and final publication.
Inputs & outputs
When to use cs-guide
- →Writing developer guides
- →Creating user documentation
- →Updating project docs
About this skill
cs-guide
- dev-guide →
docs/dev/{slug}.md - user-guide →
docs/user/{slug}.md
文件命名 {slug}.md(英文小写连字符,无日期前缀)——指南持续更新按主题管理。
检索:
python codestable/tools/search-yaml.py --dir docs/dev --filter doc_type=dev-guide --filter status=current
python codestable/tools/search-yaml.py --dir docs/user --filter doc_type=user-guide --filter component={feature-slug}
YAML frontmatter
---
doc_type: dev-guide | user-guide
slug: {英文连字符}
component: {关联模块名或 feature slug}
status: draft | current | outdated
summary: {一句话描述涵盖什么}
tags: []
last_reviewed: YYYY-MM-DD
---

- 收集输入——读方案 doc(重点第 0 节术语、第 2 节接口契约、第 1 节用户可见行为)+
status: draft。
- 落盘——用户放行后:写入路径;
codestable/
When not to use it
- →The task is to write internal implementation hints or internal designs
- →The task involves creating new guides without checking for existing ones
- →The task is to use the guide to store spec information like invariants or test constraints
Limitations
- →It produces documentation in the project's `docs/` directory
- →It is task-oriented (how to use X to do Y)
- →It does not use the guide to store spec information
How it compares
This skill systematically produces external-facing, task-oriented guides based on project specifications, ensuring clear separation from internal design documents and consistent formatting.
